The images have been captured to 7,700 meters below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, in the pit of Japan, a depth never achieved so far by the cameras and in which the scientists did not expect to find such a bustle of life. This region of the ocean, called Hadal, is below the abyssal zone, under hundreds of atmospheres of pressure, no light and very low temperature.
